Data Protection Principles
I. Basic provisions
1. The Controller of personal data pursuant to Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR") is Mgr. 3. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; An identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
4. The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
II. Sources and categories of personal data processed
1. The Controller processes personal data that you have provided by completing the contact form on the website soudnipreklady-nemcina.cz, or in connection with an enquiry, order, or provision of translation services (within the contractual relationship between you and the Controller, even without the need for a written contract).
2. The Controller processes your identification and contact data (in particular your name, email address, telephone number, and billing details), as well as data necessary for processing your enquiry, preparing a quotation, or fulfilling a contract (e.g. the content of a document to be translated, if such content contains personal data).
III. Legal Basis and Purpose of Personal Data Processing
1. The legal basis for processing personal data is the performance of a contract between you and the Controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as well as the Controller's legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry or handling a request submitted via the contact form pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
2. The purpose of processing personal data is to respond to your enquiry, prepare a price quote, fulfil the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the Controller, maintain accounting records, and comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting legislation).
3. The Controller does not engage in automated individual decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
IV. Data Retention Period
1. The Controller retains personal data for the period necessary to process your enquiry or request, for the duration of the contractual relationship, and subsequently for 5 years after its termination, or for the period required by specific legal regulations (e.g. Accounting Act).
2. After the retention period for personal data has expired, the Controller will delete the personal data.
V. Recipients of personal data (Subcontractors of the Controller)
1. The recipients of personal data are persons ensuring the technical operation of the website and IT services (web hosting, email services).
2. The Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country (outside the EU) or to an international organization.
VI. Your rights
1. Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have
- the right to access your personal data pursuant to Article 15 of the GDPR,
- the right to rectify personal data pursuant to Article 16 of the GDPR, or to restrict processing pursuant to Article 18 of the GDPR,
- the right to erasure of personal data pursuant to Article 17 of the GDPR,
- the right to object to processing pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR, and
- the right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 of the GDPR,
- the right to withdraw consent to processing in writing or electronically to the address or email of the Controller specified in Article I of this Privacy Policy.
2. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe that your right to personal data protection has been violated.
VII. Conditions of Personal Data Security
1. The Controller declares that all appropriate technical and organisational measures have been taken to secure personal data.
2. The Controller has adopted technical measures to secure data storage systems and repositories of personal data in paper form.
VIII. Final provisions
1. By submitting a message via the contact form, you confirm that you have read and that you accept this Privacy Policy.
2. The Controller is entitled to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The new version will be published on the Controller's website.
